CEO Update on our new TV ad encouraging Canadians to Think Small

Watch Canada Post’s new TV commercial that introduces our Think Small initiative to Canadians and encourages them to join us in the big fight for small business.

Think Small television ad

As I announced earlier this month, Canada Post has created the Think Small program to support small businesses and help them survive this challenging time.

Since we launched the program on April 27, small and local businesses have been benefiting from significant shipping discounts. We’ve also included new Neighbourhood MailTM offers that are helping them connect with their local customers at this critical time.

This week, we’re looking to rally support across Canada.

We’re asking Canadians to join us in the big fight for small business.

Starting this Thursday we’ll be running a new TV ad that is all about encouraging nationwide support for our country’s small and local businesses.

This ad is a reminder of what small businesses mean to us. They are the hardware stores, the bakeries and the barber shops in our neighbourhoods. They are the businesses that sponsor youth sports teams. They are the businesses that strengthen our communities, and help power the nation’s economy.

Think Small

We’ll also have ads in print, on radio and across social media.

Small businesses don’t have the ability to promote themselves, so we’re going to use our channels, our ads, to help do that for them.

I also encourage all of you to join in this important fight to help ensure that the small and local businesses we love today, will be here tomorrow.

Thank you, and stay safe.
