Update to cancelling and rescheduling vacation leave


Given the exceptional circumstances around COVID-19, all employees in MGT & Exempt and those represented by PSAC, CUPW, APOC and CPAA are allowed to cancel vacation leave previously booked up to and including May 30, 2020.

What you need to know

  • The deadline to cancel previously booked vacation leave has been extended to May 30.
  • Options and processes are different for each employee group. Please choose from the following list for more information:
    1. Employees represented by CUPW – Urban
    2. Employees represented by CUPW – RSMC
    3. Employees represented by PSAC
    4. Employees represented by CPAA
    5. Employees represented by APOC
    6. MGT/XMT/Exec Employees

What you need to do if you are cancelling vacation:

  • Advise your team leader that you are cancelling vacation.
  • Understand what options are available to you for the cancelled vacation by reading the relevant document from the list above.
