APOC negotiations: notice to bargain received

December 9, 2024, 08:03 am

We wanted to let you know that Canada Post has received a notice to bargain from the Association of Postal Officials of Canada (APOC). This is the official first step that begins the negotiations process for a new collective agreement.

The current collective agreement between APOC and Canada Post expires on March 31, 2025. If negotiations extend beyond that date, the existing collective agreement will continue to apply.

Keeping you informed

We are committed to keeping you informed throughout this process and will update you on important developments in the following ways:

  1. Negotiations Hub: At any time, you will be able to access news and information on our Negotiations Hub.
  2. Email: You will receive email updates about any key developments. (APOC-represented employees who are on leave or go on leave throughout this period without access to their corporate email will receive these updates in the mail once the current labour disruption is over.)

Your team leader will also ensure you are aware of any important updates.

Throughout this process, our goal will be to work collaboratively with APOC to reach a negotiated agreement. As a reminder, the bargaining process with APOC does not include the possibility of a labour disruption.
