Comprehensive list of employee emails forwarded to CIRB to prep for the vote

Thank you to all CUPW-represented employees for updating or confirming your emails, as requested by the Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB). These emails will be used by the CIRB to forward information for the upcoming confidential vote. The CIRB requested that employees take this important initial step and participation was extremely high. We would also like to thank employees for the feedback provided using the support tool on the verification website as it helped implement quick adjustments that improved the process for all employees.
Voting dates have not been determined by the CIRB at this point. We will keep you updated and share that information as soon as it’s available.

How many cupw members are now registered??AND IF it is a low amount- Will the CIRB assist the members that are or having difficulty registering?? I still feel this is a MUCH better to do the voting than the old fashioned way that CUPW conducts their votes. CUPW STOP forcing your members to sit through useless meetings before they are allowed to have a ballot. IF there are members that want to listen to the information and have questions, that is fine- BUT DON’T deny a CUPW member their right to vote because they don’t want OR DON’T have time to listen. There would be alot greater participation in your votes
A new first from our Liberal Government, going around the CUPW union and forcing a vote from the members.
What a joke of a process, where are they getting this comprehensive list from ? Why not publish a number to go along with this ” extremely high ” list . That could be 10k worth of employees signed up . That’s a very high number until you factor in that there is somewhere in the number neighborhood of 55k people working for Canada post . Which would give less then 20% . Also how are we expected to think that the same governing body that order us back is now going to operate a fare outcome. The results will be whatever they want them to be . Calling it now 63% yes 37% no with only 30% of the workers voting

will we have to get into sap to vote because whatever you did on upgrading only worked for me one time and now I can’t get in, wait for hours on the help desk phone line and then get hung up on………….
