Canada Post and APOC finalize tentative agreements: next steps
As recently announced, Canada Post and the Association of Postal Officials of Canada (APOC) have reached a tentative agreement. Subject to ratification, the agreement will be in effect until March 31, 2030.
This agreement is the result of months of respectful, collaborative negotiations since discussions resumed in March 2026. Both parties focused on reaching an agreement that supports long-term sustainability and meets evolving operational requirements.
The agreement includes a five-year package of wage increases, an evening and night shift premium increase; improvements to leave, as well as many other items that were mutually important to the parties.
What’s next?
The next step is a ratification vote by APOC-represented employees, a process that will be managed entirely by APOC.
