If you haven’t already voted, please be aware that voting closes at 5 pm ET on Friday, August 1, 2025.
If you’ve already voted, thank you for participating in the process and having your say.
Here’s some important information for those preparing to vote:
- This vote gives employees the chance to decide if the best and final offers presented to CUPW on May 28, 2025, should become their new collective agreements, bringing resolution and stability after 19 months of negotiations.
- If accepted by a majority of the voters in each bargaining unit, the new four-year collective agreements would be in effect for CUPW-Urban and CUPW-RSMC until January 31, 2028.
- Employees are not voting on future rounds of bargaining. Any changes to future collective agreements would be negotiated between Canada Post and CUPW.
- The Canada Industrial Relations Board (CIRB) is conducting the vote in accordance with section 108.1 of the Canada Labour Code. It is a secret ballot vote, and your vote is strictly confidential.
The offers include:
- Enhancements such as a signing bonus to provide immediate support.
- Protection of the things that are important to employees, like pension, benefits and job security.
- Changes, implemented at a manageable pace, to help grow our parcel business, protect jobs and better serve Canadians.
Learn more about the offers and how they would impact you at canadapost.ca/offers.

Release the vote please 🥺
Less then 2 hours for closing the polls guys… IF you rejected the offer, TIC TOK, TIC TOK!
I wonder if since its an electronic vote that the results will be posted at 5:01 pm eastern time?they should know the answer immediately upon closing.
Just not really certain how a No vote would be beneficial to anyone. This is not a great offer granted but it will keep us working. We already lost 22 days of pay last winter and pretty certain more than a few of us are still trying to recover from it. The review is in the fall and it will more than favor Canada Post’s perspectives future work deployment strategies. If it turns out to be No we will just be out of work at a time where work is hard to find plus we will be arbitrate eventually to a contract similar to what Canada Post is currently offering. So I see no victory in a No or Reject vote.
We are all going to need therapy and counseling until we know the results 🥴
My hope is yes so I can have 2 years peace at least.
👍 agree
Same here
Funny we haven’t heard much from our union in last couple of days now that the vote is almost over since the vote was ordered by minister posting something almost daily but because they can’t change anything now silence again expect that to continue after the vote
I don’t know about you but I’m tired of all of it. And it’s a long weekend, go away
Yes could be layoffs but seniority will win….unless cpc wants to offer a buyout!
To sunny bono…on the most important thing is the mandate hearing in the fall…so right you are..
By the time the government gets thru with us they wont even nee dynamic delivery when they have each rte being delivered every other day or twice a week
Anyone have an idea when we will learn the results of the vote
Forced arbitration is not like the agreed upon arbitration…if we put everybody thru the hassle with a no vote…garunteed we get less than the final offer
More fear mongering.
Its not fear tactics to say that if no vote wins that there will be a prolonged lockout as the gov needs legislation to force arbitration…and fed dont sit until october..
And keep in mind the mandate review happenning in the fall as well
Saying things like that, without anything to back it up, is the definition of fear tactics! It’s nothing but your opinion, which you are allowed to have, but it doesn’t make it true!
It’s called an emergency session. They can, and have, reconvene parliament before.
Enjoy the ride people, Good luck to whoever wins the vote. Just remember you might regret that you won. Ultimately the Government controls this company so the important decision is This Fall.
I’m not gonna post any comments just go ahead and disagree with it.
Unofficially I hear it is a yes vote by a good margin.
Ridiculous! You heard nothing.
Heard the same thing it’s a yes.
I hope we all realize that if a NO vote wins that our jobs could be jeopardized. Not only we could be in a lockout , losing weeks of pay and $1000 bonus, but with the CPC losing money daily, they could start the process of layoff people , possibly seniority won’t even matter.
Hopefully the YES wins and we can keep on resuming business for the next couple of years.
Thats Just False The chances of Canada post laying off Not based on seniority is close to Zero.
The Champ approves of this message.
It’s the opposite. You could (agree yourself, out of a job)
VOTE Reject
Not sure how many times this has to be said, but I’ll try once more, we are on strike…the company cannot lay anyone off. It is illegal. Quit spreading false information to support your delusions.
Ill say it again also for the 5th time because its not a strike…Its CUPW grasping at straws banning OT…in their minds its “strike action” but its a joke…no mail no OT,people can and most certainly will be laid off very soon.Polish up your resume buddy!
It is a legal strike action. Making stuff up does not do anyone any good.
I hope this whole thing goes down like the titanic. Every last one of you deserves a reality check. From the useless sales staff to the sleeping mechanics. Not a single department in this entire company is part of a true solution. We all deserve to go down on the sinking ship. Directors to PO4’s everyone is at fault and everyone is to blame. Cupw and management excellent job being industry leaders in total and complete incompetence you’ve really outdone yourselves this time around. What a depressing place to work surrounded by the most depressing people on the planet to be around.
Aren’t we just a barrel full of sunshine this morning? If you’re so miserable at CP then why vote to begin with? Just go and find yourself a different job and let the rest of us focus on ours.
It would be nice if you focused on doing your job and providing efficient service to Canadians. Instead you just seem focused on bleeding the company dry. Selfish workforce
To all the no voters, enjoy the lockout and a worse contract. Company will save a ton of money locking us out again. Good luck everyone.
If company locks out and we get forced arbitration. Wake up and stop the fear tactics.
Sure and after how many weeks unpaid from the lockout? The rationale for the no voters is mind numbing
Even if the lockout would last a week, we would have already lost 1 week of salary , plus 1000$ of signing bonus…that’s a lot of money lost for nothing burgers
Calm yourself! It’s a trick you into yes bribe and even then it’s only maybe $650 after tax. Im not remotely close to being rich but that is not a life altering amount one way or the other by any stretch of the imagination
What would you consider life altering then?
Good luck on a better offer, not happening
Why dont you take your blinders off? This is so serious NO wins we might as well start looking for other employment…CPC is not going to play these games anymore with CULTW-businesses just cant it today’s economy…Now I do blame both sides equally for engaging in this for almost 2 years and forgetting who they were fighting for now its which side wins.Lay offs are coming whether we like it or not
Also, you can bet that if they lock us out the government will not give the rest of the $1b that was promised. Remember, they haven’t given them the full amount.
If it goes to arbitration, hopefully the arbitrator finds it in his heart to put Kleenex as apart of the resolution. Because the crying here is unprecedented
I’m seeing a lot of posts here from the NEB.. You should have communicated when you we’re asked to now. You communicate on a daily basis because of your fear from the results of the vote and your poor negotiating proudness
lol ok
The crying comes next.
The relationship between management and employees are terrible for the following reasons. Bad attitudes, poor attendance.
Enablement.
Entitlement, harassment….just to name a few…these attitudes are supported by cupw…
The employee satisfaction survey is a complete joke as you can see. Bye
Comments posted on here that the survey IS a complete failure…
I’m sure postal worker’s are tired of being screwed over by Canada Post and they just want this over with, but not at their expense.
No overtime in the cards for full-time employees and wages are not enough to live on (the wage increase in the offer is pathetic) The postal workers didnt run Canada Post into the ground, the top executives did and are!!! And the postal workers arent willing to pay for that deliberate “mistake.”
Lmao. I love all you cupw trolls and vote reject comments. Well do better in arbitration… cpc wont lock us out. And cupw… we wont strike. Hmmm. Do you remember why you went on strike in november? It was cpc going to layoff members, so cupw said no way…STRIKE! So, what do you think will happen this time? Maybe no lockout, but LAYOFFS. Lots of them! And work rule changes. So, what can, or what will cupw do? Cupw already promised no strike. Cant wait to see… careful what you wish for reject voters. Better get your record of employment form asap!
This message is brought to you by CPC
Latest majority said yes to company offer 😀😀😀👍.
Where did you get the results from
It’s been a privilege to talk to my fellow inmates across Canada . Your comments have been interesting and quite colorful. Until next time, good luck to all to all a goid night
majority of the votes are in favor on ACCEPT.
Man, you are going to be sooooooo disappointed come Friday night. 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Don’t bet on that! Besides, the voting results won’t be announced until Tuesday morning.
Youll be seriously disappointed if it is a reject. Good luck thinking youll do better in arbitration….that is if theres no lock out.
Lol.. .. Your liberal government is doing a postal review where and if Canada post doesn’t make changes on its own. They’ll be told what to change. And that’ll mean, employees will be surplus, because we don’t use that word laid off. So change is coming regardless of your cup w.Attitude
The RSMC is accept amd the Urban will be close. Facts.
“Facts” mean you have something to back that up. Show your work!
Reject
Accept
Yes im one of those p04 who hates the word….work. I’d leave and go elsewhere but then I’d have to…..work.
So I Stay at Canada Post where I don’t have to….work.
Hahaha at least you’re honest!
Reject, restructure, rebuild just some of the adjectives used by economist on the future of Canada Post. Interesting nobody said anything about canceling bonuses, trips to Hawaii,Cuba ,cutting salaries of NEB ,CPC etc.
Does anyone else notice this guy has posted hundreds of comments using different names? Every one of them never uses a space after a comma. Dude, you’re not fooling anyone!
I’m that guy,lol
Hundreds? Lol.
lol I find your Cuba fascination…fascinating
Almost 24 hr left cupw na na na hey hey bye bye
CUPW is here to stay. The vote results won’t change that, no matter how much you dream about it.
Thank you Cupw ,Cpc and members for providing some great entertainment over the last little while. See again really soon.
Union reps told us to take home our personal belongings today as we may not have building access next week.
If the union is committed to staying at the table till we get a deal done they have to be willing to give up on some of their ridiculous demands and admit that things have changed from 20yrs even 10yrs ago and changes need to be made for CPC to compete with all the other companies doing what we do 10yrs ago we didn’t have much competition now everybody with a vehicle is doing it
Everybody with a vehicle is delivering to every address in Canada including remote areas???
The remote areas aren’t going to save our jobs and you watch the competition is going to start delivery in those areas especially Purolator.
Remote areas aren’t profitable, Canada Post is the only one servicing those areas because they have to with the current mandate.
Delivering to every remote area will bring in billions to cover up the losses?
I’ve said it b4 and I’ll say it again. CPC will always be a government funded entity in rural and small town Canada. It’s not a money maker and never will be, hence why it will never go away. But neither is Healthcare, education, social services, building highways, etc, etc. It will just be another tax funded service. Urban centers, That will be eventually be privatized. Jobs will disappear. CPC will always be around for ‘last mile’ delivery. Just like they are now for the UPS, FedEx, DHL, and Purolators of the world.
Commas and periods are your friend
I just want to say I’m glad it’s come to this. It shows the true distain the company has for its employees all along. They’ve tried to hide it for the last few decades. But these last few years have really been an eye opener.
Disdain is too mild of a description. I would describe it as contempt from management towards the employees.
Yes… and surely a reject will make everything all better, and cpc will then love you.
Better than just taking it as you so obviously love doing
If accept wins ,fulltimers will get $650 give or take. Yea there’s tax on the $1000 bribe I mean offer. You get to keep all the benefits and continue being jealous of the Cupw executives going to Cuba using union dues. Everybody gets what they deserve.
Nope the rsmcs wont get anything…they will be layed off if they accept and urban declines…cpc not going to pay them for doing nothing…
+ all of apoc will probably be layed off…long lockout coming if no vote
The word is out that if we don’t accept this contract , we will be Locked out
August 5 at 12:01 am , hope you all used your vote wisely. Tomorrow you will be told not to leave any personal belongings
In your depot or plant over the long weekend, might be a long lockout to teach us a lesson.
We heard the opposite of that today
Already been told
What did last year’s strike accomplish?
We are in the same position 7 months later than we were with no leverage
We lost 10 % of our gross wage due to the length of the strike- even if somehow we do get a 19% raise ( we won’t) we essentially held out for a 9 % raise over 4 years, which is less than the original 10% offer we all laughed at!
Had cupw accepted the binding arbitration they rejected initially, we would not be in this position now!
CPC is by no means guiltless as it takes 2 to tango
I realize and applaud Cupws efforts to eliminate the rollbacks, but we all know that changes are needed in order to compete
Vote to your own convictions, not either parties
Good luck to all of us!
Well said.
If CUPW NEB don’t like the results, they better find themselves a new job, since they help bring us to the position that has caused upheaval to that forced this vote to take place.
I actually happy we got to vote. It will show how out of touch CUPW has become.
I agree wholeheartedly- despite the circumstances, this is the first time that membership has had a chance to voice it’s collective opinions-at least this will tell if we are in support or not
The people who really care about their jobs and looks at the Canadian economy will vote yes.CUPW and their minions will REJECT because they think they’re right up there with professions like pilots, nurses, teachers…the list goes on and on.Enjoy this long weekend it might be our last for awhile
In the short time I’ve worked here it feels like we went from being one big happy family to a group of selfish and entitled finger pointers.
Management is absolutely clueless as to what is needed to run efficiently. I wish they understood how clueless they really are. We help people move boxes and occasionally pieces of paper. That’s it, that’s the entire blueprint for us. Move a box from point A to point B.
The people put in place to run this company really have ruined a good thing very similar to what is happening with the people put in place to run this country. Canada and Canada Post should not be in the current state of affairs either are in right now and it’s solely at the hands and is the fault of the people put in place to destroy them.
The vote results don’t matter folks. There is no going back to what we all once knew.
Interesting how you say the entire blueprint for our company is moving boxes and paper from point A to B. CUPW doesn’t share your thoughts as they demand social hubs, senior check-ins, EV charging stations, building cleaning and snow removal.
You forgot to mention Postal Banking ! I am sure most Canadians will feel comfortable dealing with a CUPW staffed bank that will have continuous labor disruptions 🙄
CUPW leaders are the biggest group of bottom feeders and are completely out to lunch you are 100% correct.
Is there anything left that hasn’t been said, good, bad, serious, funny spiteful, etc. If so please comment by Aug 1 of whatever year we’re in right now.
Truth hurts and they cant accept it.It’s true we had (past tense) some good leaders who really knew their stuff. We might as well have a grade 2 class negotiating for us.Oh no wait theyd do better!😂
All these members that are saying we won’t get locked out are the same ones that where saying strike would only last 2 weeks no way they leave us out during peak
Exactly! Preparing for a long lockout but hoping accept wins!
I would be okay PT Flex if it was guaranteed 25 hours along with weekend, not 15 hours. I would be fine if my shift ended 11 pm like other courier services.
Who the heck could live on 15 hours and not knowing if management would offer more?
You could get a second job but you will have to be available for 30 hours….but we guarantee 15. Lol. What a crock.
Just told to take our belongings home Friday, thanks Union and No voters, 7 week minimum lock out coming.
Don’t worry I am already looking for another job.🙄
Woohoo! Extended summer vacay!
Doom and gloom all around lol
I am one reject
If the rsmcs accept and urban doesnt
They will be locked out anyway…
But they will receive full pay and benefits while laughing at the urban members on the picket line.
If the PO4 are on the picket line, then there’s nothing for the RSMC to do!
But they would still be getting a pay cheque.
Talk to you’ll next week. We should have a winner by then. Although im not sure who’s really winning since there’s so much division between Cpc,Cupw and, members . Maybe one day we can all get along and work together instead of against each other
The tone at work is dictated by management. They are supposed to lead. But just because they are designated as the leader, doesn’t mean they know how to lead. There in lies Canada Post’s main problem.
Will we ever see unity, happiness and good will at Canada Post again. This question maybe a little rhetorical.
The corporation has done an excellent job sowing divisions and animosity between any 2 or more groups working anywhere within Canada post. Well done. Slide that great achievement right beside mindlessly blowing billions, power diving this company into the ground while still stealing millions in bonuses for ansolutely nothing other than bare faced greed. You all must be so proud
No accountability from the union side. No surprise there. What about the complete disregard for any needed changes? Changes that could unshackle the company not be a market leader again…No foresight, “let’s just keep what we have now” is why this will never improve. With changes overall they could get most of the Canadian market, but not like this.
Well, I would hate to see the corporation unshackled. They have made some real boneheaded decision the past. Their vision is one where we are maxed out at 20 bucks an hour, and are all driving Dragonfly vans. Good times.
I notice you never criticize anything the company has done. Its all the union. Tell me, why do stay quiet on the bonuses they voted themselves ? Is it because you are most definitely one of them and likely reaped that I’ll gotten reward you blasphemous hipocrite
You clearly don’t understand how “at risk pay” works. It’s just like your signing bonus, it isn’t pensionable, it’s only approved by the board and it’s not always paid. It’s used to lower the cost of employment because it’s not guaranteed and it’s meant to reward certain actions. You know, like the bonus you get for delivering flyers. Tell me how that’s at all different
They almost have all the customers going paperless too. They will blame us for the double labour disruption in years to come.
The mythical bonuses are ruining everything 😭 give me a break and try joining me in reality
That’s the most accurate description I’ve read abou the main problem facing Canada Post right now.
Oh ya… and cupw has done nothing to cause divsion amongst its members.
Both Cpc and Cupw have said that our vote is confidential and private.. There will be no repercussions……lol. lol. lol. And my rent will decrease by 50% starting Aug 1. More lol
What kind of repercussions do you think there will be?? They’re gonna punish tens of thousands of workers?? 🙄
You also don’t believe CUPW then?
You’d better read CUPW’s last bulletin. Your Union is lying to you then.
Nobody really cares who voted for what. It only matters how many voted for what. Not everything is a conspiracy but it’s probably true that you will be renting forever.
Also true is that you will still be stuck in a job you clearly hate
I love it here. You haven’t seen me complain about the company yet.
Does anybody know if this goes to arbitration? If this hopeless union will let us work overtime, or do we let the part timers work full time hours as they are right now
I would think ot is a goner
If you want to work OT, work OT, they can’t stop you, it’s time to take care of yourself.
The union should save face and announce that over time, it can be worked…. I’m here for the money and the union dues
🤔
No OT ban means no strike activity which means you can expect layoffs. A reject vote means that lockout is likely since the company can’t afford this if you don’t want play along
So we just roll over and accept anything CPC wants? Having 55000 gig employees is what this company has in mind, next contract will be a dandy.
My union rep told me I would lose all my seniority. They also said all non-votes would be counted as yes.
That’s very questionable
Ahahaha!!
Joke of the day!
Hey.
I am part time PO4 and I still don’t get full time hours.
Management expects us to do the extra work while people are away and refuse to staff extra people unless they can get an accommodated in the position.
Management only care about the bonus they receive for reducing staffing of extra hours.
Can’t wait for the new Canada Post mandate. Hopefully the moratorium on rural post offices will be lifted, the remaining home delivery will be converted to cmb, lc routes will be once a week, and move retail counters to rpo locations. Staff will be reduced by 75% so sortation area will be nice and quiet while I decide what day to submit my retirement. Or if the workload is easy enough instead of pulling the pin at 65 I’ll ride it out until 70 just to piss people off.
You sound quiet unhappy with your life.
So sorry to hear that. ✌️
If the staff are reduced by 75%, who will pay in the pension fund?
So you’re going to work till your 80!
I fully expect my union dues to increase. This should not upset anyone since the money goes to a worthy cause..NEB.
Sounds like a Yes for RSMCs and a nail bitter for the Urban
How could you even remotely quantify that statement?? Nobody knows what the votes are…not even the CIRB yet.
Not sure the winner but with all the midsinformation and division im betting no more then a 6 point spread betwern the winner and loser!
When we go into a car dealership to buy a car we all have to negotiate. We would all love to leave with a free car, paying zero. But, negotiations do not work that way. Certainly the Kaplan report did point out the inability and unwillingness of the the CUPW team to articulate what they actually wanted. This is not some government conspiracy theory, this is obvious fact. I would ask you all, what specifically does the union want. “Retire with dignity, a safe workplace and respect” are slogans and are not specific asks. I find it frightening that so many people are willing to risk their livelihoods for very vague demands.
Wouldn’t it be nice to see all the CUPW demands, rather than trust us to negotiate for you.
It would.
CUPW NEEDS to be held accountable for all the job losses that will happen if there is a no vote . ALSO if there is a vote of acceptance they better not come and ask for higher union dues because of the raise THEY SO GOT US
They will take no accountability and yes they will raise the Union dues. They will blame CPC,CIRB,Liberals, the Kaplan report and the Man in the Moon!
Who can afford to go to a dealership to buy a car with our wages sliding backwards thanks to cost of living, rent, housing, groceries etc etc…
Yes Kaplan did not work for free he drained the system more. What did he say or didn’t we all know
Vote NO, CPC locks us out!
Govt. legislates us back to work with same offer without the signing bonus! Who wins???
CUPW had upper hand before we went on strike with NDP in Govt, now CUPW has no power. Should have gone to binding arbitration BEFORE we went on strike. Now CUPW wants binding arbitration when CPC has upper hand???
Remember NDP had Liberals over a barrel BEFORE the elections!!!
This literally makes no sense.
🤷🤔
Your union is an extension of the liberal party …vote liberal they said..and immediately started to cry foul when the liberals sent us back to work…its also the liberals who pushed its to a vote
If everyone used their own brain and common sense during the federal election and now this one, instead of listening to what cupw bullying tells you to do, we’d all be better off. Can’t wait to see the results.
exactly
your totally clueless ndp was never in power its been a liberal government for years and years educate yourself before posting
😂😂😂
cupw Has no real plan or strategy they are trying to ride the coattails of past great union leaders. While playing the victim with current strategic loses. Kaplan said cupw was unreasonable.
Truth hurts and they cant accept it.It’s true we had (past tense) some good leaders who really knew their stuff. We might as well have a grade 2 class negotiating for us.Oh no wait theyd do better!😂
👍
We would be profitable if CP didn’t spend all of this money and resources on a never ending propaganda campaign. It’s quite funny knowing they can always still “find the money” for things like this, and bonuses.
Sure, and losing all our customers due to a strike and the uncertainty of another work stoppage at any time has no affect on our finances? And finding money is called borrowing more money to survive… how long can this go on?
What money is being spent on propaganda exactly? They have cheap slides and a couple of mailings, that is not expensive when you don’t pay for postage, a 55,000 piece mailing is chump change.
lol, sure it is. CPC always finds money for such things. Are you management or a po4, just curious. It seems like you have a real hatred for anyone external
No hatred for anyone, but it is increasingly clear that the membership is very uninformed about the state of affairs. Did you see that the USA shipping will be fully taxed and tariffed in a month? That was our last chance of making a comeback. The postal clearance was a license to print money, but now that is gone as well. It’s over.
Don’t worry, we will be ok.
I did not get mailings they went paperless for me
You’re misinformed, and that is totally laughable. They don’t pay for stamps and posting anything on facebook or any other media source doesn’t cost money
CPC has produced a handful of slides and handouts internally..distributed them internally using internal resources, Meanwhile CUPW has hired agencies to produce content, paid for advertising on a number of social media platforms. Hired communication consultants and writers. Hired high paid lawyers to mount endless legal challenges that have mostly ended badly. Let’s hope the strike pay cheques don’t bounce again if we wind up walking out after rejecting the offer. I do not trust CUPW with my life and well being.
Here’s a real answer to the health of the economy at least in Toronto. We a fair called the Canadian National Exhibition,it last for about 3 weeks. There are 5000 positions give or take . As of this comment ,there were over 56000 online applicants for this temporary work. The pay is minimum and benefits are you work mostly outside getting lots of vitamin D. Dara released said all walks of life are applying from teens to grandparents. My point is be very very very grateful you have what you have at Canada Post. I’m sure many of the 56000 would love to trade places with you and me.
Okay, guy, take it down a notch. CNE employment is mainly geared towards students as a temporary 3 week stint So stop comparing. Its not even remotely close. You think cpc execs think about us when voting themselves millions in bonuses?
There are people starving all over the world. Eat your peas. We have it good because we organized labour and stuck together. Reject this vote if you haven’t already.
voted yes
Enough with this mindset.
“Just be thankful”
That is a temp job, no wonder there are retired people and students applying. Comparing it to our workplace is like night and day
Front of the sign strike! Back of the sign lockout! Let me know how many need? Delivered across Canada by …wait for it…..Purolator. which is 91% owned by Canada Post.
Exactly! And who sits on their board?
We all know who.
Who is shipping the signs? Even cupw doesn’t trust the employees to get them delivered.
Sending a strong message to Cupw and all it’s easily fooled puppets. Vote reject. Dont accept. It is better to take our chances in binding arbitration and continue to have Cupw treat us like little people. Let fear and intimidation control us, i like feeling like a third class citizen. Right
.
Not afraid of fear and intimidation. Voted Yes.
Oh it’s obvious the person going to the grocery store is gonna have more fun. All your do in Hawaii and Cuba is relax, suntan, eat drink party. I means where’s the fun in that right?
Cpc executives go to Hawaii. Cupw executives go to Cuba. I go to the grocery store. Whos gonna gave more fun ? Hum?
CPC management.
At least this proves that going forward. There’s no excuse from CUPW why we can’t vote like this in future. That way knowing true vote.
Saying they had 92% in favor of strike
How many votes 20 000. Most likely. Can’t stand being locked up listening to garbage talk. Vote online. Yay 😁. Finally everyone counts. YES
It should be illegal for CUPW to keep the vote total private.
There is no transparency with CUPW. That is why they are so scared of this democratic process called voting. Also they don’t understand the logic behind the fact that the number of people that voted will also be known to all of its members. Yes CUPW members will actually see these numbers. This is a trail blazing idea CUPW. Maybe you ought to try it !!!
Less. Probably 14000
i wish i could have voted yes more than once.
Vote is all about keeping CPC alive and staying in a job, with our benefits untouched.
CPC has about 8 to 10 years left at best even if this offer is accepted. My YES may or may not help at all.
The cupw trolls posted the first 3 comments. What a surprise. Accept.
lol ok
And your response reeks of desperation.
REJECT
I wouldn’t worry to much about it. The last thread had about 500 comments many of them obviously from the same people. So out of 55,000 employees only a couple hundred even bothered to voice an opinion on this forum. Most of the comments were lol, I agree, vote NO etc. The only reason I posted was to keep it real for the new hirees and the uninformed. I will be glad when this nonsense has concluded. I hope to never hear from most of you ever again.
REJECT the forced vote.
This is correct!
I would have accept but the wages were too high and they didn’t cut any benefits ,and who really wants job security since there are secure jobs in this healthy economy. Therefore,I must reject. Hopefully next offer won’t be as good as this one.
Inside workers should never forget that last year it was common to hear outside workers say that they should get the raise instead of the inside workers. They think you are overpaid, but now that they need you for the numbers they are pretending to be best buddies.
It’s ok most people have voted already. We’ll see you here next contract, all the best.
Lol you just don’t quit. How come Purolator can offer deep discounts to get customers but CP can’t. Because they don’t WANT the business. All to make things look worse. Talk about lazy…
CP is offering deep discounts but nobody wants to use them because they either think we are already on strike, or their parcels will be caught in the system if there is a full strike, like my passport was during the strike last year.
Random comment not related at all, but I’m not surprised. Don’t tell me you are also fooled by the 65% off when that’s off an inflated rate…they are however cheaper than us for some things because they don’t have to deal with carriers and their workload which is diminishing daily.
Once again you are on a roll. Why the hostility? It’s obvious by now that you are an inside cupw employee. You do know you can transfer outside at any time if you think it is so good.
There he is , Just Soupin pot stirring as usual. What a incredibly helpful and intelligent post . Are you already finished checking zipped up vests and counting elastics?
Trolling and potstirring again !?! Serious anti employee sentiment true colour’s really shining through now
U have a choice people if you hate the job so much find a new one
Wouldn’t get hired…other places expect a person to WORK and that’s a bad 4 letter word to a lot of folks!😂
After you….
I reject this horrible offer.
What a load of horse doo doo!
“”Employees are not voting on future rounds of bargaining. Any changes to future collective agreements would be negotiated between Canada Post and CUPW.”” You mean go run and hide to the government AGAIN as usual
Since CUPW wanted and instructed their members to vote for the current liberal government, it’s inappropriate to disapprove its own choice! A supportive member should be therefore thankful to the union for that *AGAIN* and *as usual* option the CPC legally uses.
What colour is the sky in your world? I vote for and support me as I see fit. Not you or anyone will change that
No one told me who to vote for.
I voted NDP. For one thing, I would never vote for a Con government since they started to dismantle Canada Post long before the Liberals.
“ Employees are not voting on future rounds of bargaining. Any changes to future collective agreements would be negotiated between Canada Post and CUPW.”
Absolutely the funniest thing on the Internet today! This is ALL about future negotiations…believing otherwise is completely ignorant.
I wish I could reject more than once!
To you, of course, it’s ALL about the future negotiations. Members can see what is offered right NOW and you are afraid they will accept it. Should we have rejected the previous contract then? Since it ALL about future negotiations.
If people can’t see by accepting this forced offer without negotiating will set a precedent for future contracts, there is nothing I can say to help you. We accept THIS offer, Canada Post will never need to negotiate a contract again. Why on Earth would that outcome be ok to you or any worker anywhere in the world??
If what you are saying is true, I guess some people will be out of a job.
Your statement is plain wrong about accepting this contract without negotiating.
There was negotiating. 18 months of it and it went nowhere!
Thanks to CPC constantly getting up from the table. Negotiating is not saying “final offer” and “non negotiable” which is precisely the words used by CPC.
A postal review will fix you and cultw
Also fix you and other superfluous soups!
