Canada Post and PSAC/UPCE to resume collective bargaining

Canada Post and the Public Service Alliance of Canada/Union of Postal Communications Employees (PSAC/UPCE) will be resuming formal collective bargaining beginning September 28, 2026.
The current collective agreement expired on August 31, 2024. Last April, both parties agreed to defer negotiations until both parties mutually agreed to the resumption of negotiations.
Since receiving the notice to bargain, our goal has remained to collaborate with PSAC/UPCE to reach a new negotiated agreement.
The parties’ exchanges will remain confidential unless otherwise mutually agreed. We will continue to share information as it becomes available via email, as well as on the Negotiations Hub.
