PSAC/UPCE negotiations: notice to bargain received

May 24, 2024, 11:25 am

Canada Post has received a notice to bargain from the Public Service Alliance of Canada/Union of Postal Communications Employees (PSAC/UPCE). This official first step begins the negotiations process for a new collective agreement.

The current collective agreement between PSAC/UPCE and Canada Post is expiring on August 31, 2024. If negotiations extend beyond this date, the existing collective agreement will continue to apply.

Keeping you informed

Any important updates on the negotiations will be posted here on the Negotiations Hub website. When comments are opened, you’ll be able to post comments anonymously, without having to log in.

In addition, PSAC/UPCE-represented employees will receive updates via their corporate email – those on leave without access to their corporate email will receive these updates in the mail. Team leaders will also keep their PSAC/UPCE-represented employees informed about any key developments.

Throughout this process, our goal will be to work collaboratively to reach a negotiated agreement.
