Negotiations begin for Canada Post and the Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association

The Canadian Postmasters and Assistants Association (CPAA) has provided a notice to bargain to Canada Post. This is the official step that kicks off the labour negotiations process for a new collective agreement.
The CPAA’s current collective agreement with Canada Post expires on December 31, 2023. Negotiations are expected to extend beyond that date, and in this case the existing collective agreement will continue to apply.

Throughout this process, we will keep CPAA-represented employees informed with regular updates on the Negotiations Hub website. In addition, CPAA-represented employees will learn about important developments through:
- Mailings to home
- InfoMessage Extras (for employees who work in automated post offices)
- Info Bulletins (for employees who work in non-automated post offices)
We will ensure to keep all CPAA-represented employees informed and updated throughout the negotiations process as we work towards positive outcomes for everyone.
